WEEKEND UPDATE!

WHAT A WONDERFUL WEEKEND SANS MY KIDS. (NOT THAT I DIDN’T MISS THEM LIKE CRAZY).

FRIDAY I WENT WITH THE LADIES TO GO SEE NEW MOON. MY THOUGHTS: IT WAS BETTER (SPECIAL EFFECTS WISE THAN TWILIGHT) ACTING WAS OKAY, STORY WAS COOL. NEW MOON WAS MY LEAST FAVORTIE BOOK OUT OF THE SERIES SO IT WAS HARD TO SAY. I THOUGHT THEY DID A GOOD JOB BRINGING THAT BOOK TO LIFE. AFTERWARDS I MET UP WITH A FEW FRIENDS FOR A LOVELY HAPPY HOUR. WE STARTED OUT AT RA SUSHI, WE VENTURED ON OVER TO MONNALISA AND ENDED THE EVENING AT YARD HOUSE. I LOVE TOWN AND COUNTRY EATERIES AND LOUNGES.

SATURDAY I DID MY “STEP OUT-WALK TO FIGHT DIABETES” DOWNTOWN. IT WAS RAINY AND COLD BUT GINA AND I MADE THE BEST OF IT. WE ACTUALLY HAD A LOT OF FUN. THEN WE WENT TO HAVE BREAKFAST AT IHOP. I WENT HOME AND RELAXED FOR A LITTLE BIT. LATER THAT NIGHT I WENT TO DANIELLE’S JEWELRY PARTY (HOSTED BY STEPHANIE). THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN AND I CAN’T WAIT TO GET MY PIECES IN.

SUNDAY WAS A DAY OF CLEANING AND RELAXING. COUNTING DOWN THE HOURS TIL DARREN AND LAUREN RETURNED. A LONG BUT NICE QUIET DAY.

OH..AND THE REALLY COOL PICTURE BELOW IS A PAINTING MY FRIEND DEVON DID FOR ME. I REALLY LIKE IT. I WANT IT! ALSO HE SAID IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE FOR HIM TO DO A PAINTING FOR YOU HE WOULD BE HAPPY TO DO IT. YOU CAN EMAIL ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND I CAN GIVE YOU HIS INFORMATION.

More of Roxy Girl..

Roxy Love

We just love her so much and we are really enjoying having her with us.

When the kids got home they found Roxy happy as can be and they said that she didn't tear up the house. She loves to cuddle and she mostly just lays in her bed and on all the comfy blankets. She is a lazy one and such a good little girl. She still isn't a barker which is great. We heard her bark once and it was kind of cute. Last night I was on the computer in my room and she was laying by my feet play bitting at my socks. I would reach down to pet her and she would just roll over and beg for more lovin.

I later heard her gently scratching on the door so I took her out and she went potty. WOW! I think we still have a little bit of work to do with her as far as dog/house training but for her being a puppy in a new home, she has been wonderful.

Money Saving Cutbacks

Just an update on my Spending during the week. Go figure I had 2 cheat days. I guess it takes some getting use to. Not spending any money during the workday. I will take 2 out of 7 days as a small little victory.

On the bright side, I have made dinner the past 12 meals. Including Breakfast/Lunch and Dinner for the past weekend. (except Friday nigh, I picked up McD's). Only because it took FOREVER to get my nails done.

I still feel good about my cutbacks and tonight is a trip to the grocery store to stock up on my weekly meals.

Total saved: $80+/- in just workday spending alone. Good job Me.

Now to figure out when I will start planning my Christmas shopping.

OVERDRAFT FEES!

THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN LOOKING AT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AND REALIZING THAT WHEN YOU RETURNED YOUR $1/DAY REDBOX RENTALS (ONE FOR $1.07 AND THE OTHER FOR $6.40) THAT YOU WERE CHARGED AN OVERDRAFT FEE OF $35 A POP, BECAUSE ANOTHER BILL THAT COMES OUT AUTOMATICALLY (WHEN EVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT FOR) FOR $40 BOUNCES. LAST MONTH THIS AUTO PAY CAME OUT ON THE 22ND OF THE MONTH SO WHY HAVE THEY CHOSEN TO DEDUCT FROM MY ACCOUNT ON THE 4TH???

NOW I AM OUT 4 OVERDRAFT FEES. THAT IS $140 GONE.

WHAT A MAJOR DRAG. I NEED EVERY PENNY I EARN. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AND I AM THINKING OF ASKING MY CREDIT UNION FOR 'ACCIDENTAL OVERWITHDRAWL FORGIVENESS'. EVEN IF THEY ONLY FORGIVE ONE OR TWO FEES.

I AM SERIOUSLY SAD ABOUT THAT. I AM TRYING SO HARD TO CATCH UP FROM MEDICAL BILLS, CAR REPAIRS, KID EXPENSES THIS YEAR AND I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO CATCH A BREAK.

YEP, THERE IS NO QUESTION ABOUT IT, I WILL BE WORKING MORE OVERTIME.

I REALLY HOPE MY CREDIT UNION WILL WORK WITH ME. I AM SURE THEY WILL. I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR 6 YEARS AND HAVE NOT HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS BEFORE. ALSO THE FACT THAT 2 OF THE CHARGES ARE FOR AN AMOUNT "COMBINED" LESS THAN $10.

UGH..FML!
